Surbiton residents are being left stranded, as roadworks are causing buses to be up to half an hour late.

The 281 bus route south of Surbiton towards Tolworth Broadway is affected by ongoing works in the area.

In a statement on the 23rd January, Mayor of London Sadiq Khan agreed the route is not doing as well as it should, but the works should finish in February,

Rosie Trew, TfL’s Head of Bus Service Delivery, has also apologised for the inconvenience.
