Students at University of Surrey will be paying more in tuition from the next academic year, as fees rise in line with inflation

Full-time undergraduate fees will go up by £255 to £9,790 a year from 2026.

The increase will affect current undergraduates, but not postgraduate or international students, or those graduating next year.

Universities across England are expected to introduce similar rises.
