Staff at St George’s Hospital in Tooting are allegedly giving up their changing areas to make way for more patient beds.

That’s according to Putney’s Labour MP, Fleur Anderson, who has just completed a bike ride to raise money for the children’s ward.

She says staff have told her they are now changing and working in corridors so more children can be treated.

Ms Anderson says the money raised will enable the department to treat more patients and improve facilities for staff and users.
