St George’s Hospital Charity has been handed a “landmark” £200,000 donation.

The money has come from the Friends of St George’s Hospital via the Time for a Change Children’s Appeal.

The contribution is the largest single gift ever given by the Friends in their 75 year plus history of fundraising.

The money will be spent transforming the hospital experience for thousands of young patients and their families.
