Spelthorne has introduced a new Public Space Protection Order to tackle antisocial behaviour across the borough.

The order gives officers powers to tackle misuse of bikes, intimidating face coverings, and illegal possession of catapults.

It follows a public consultation in November 2024, where nearly all respondents backed the proposals.

Offenders risk fines or prosecution, with exemptions for legitimate uses like medical masks or fishing gear.
