Spelthorne Council has challenged the Home Office over the Stanwell Hotel after the High Court ruling on the Bell Hotel in Epping.

It opposes the decision to house only single adult males instead of families and single women.

The Council has updated residents on safety, children’s schooling, cannabis concerns, and family support.

It is reviewing legal advice and awaiting a Home Office response with potential implications for Stanwell.
