Spelthorne Borough Council has launched a new consultation on Climate change planning to achieve its overall Net Zero goal.

The borough aims to hit this target by 2030, even though the government has committed to a net zero national level by 2050.

The Climate Change Supplementary Planning Document encourages development that responds proactively to the climate emergency.

It will provide guidance on areas such as energy use, water, building design, as well as transport and green infrastructure.
