Spelthorne Borough Council Chief Executive Daniel Charles Mouawad is stepping down after eight years in the role.

He led key projects including the Passivhaus leisure centre, award-winning housing, while guiding the borough through COVID-19.

Terry Collier, Deputy Chief Executive and Section 151 Officer, has been appointed as Interim Chief Executive to ensure continuity.

Mouawad says it’s been a privilege to serve Spelthorne, and Collier says he is honoured to guide the Council through this important period.
