It comes after months of lobbying from residents, commuters and Richmond Park MP, Sarah Olney.
The train company announced back in July that it was looking into the feasibility of reinstating it.
It had removed the bike channel that led to the platform as part of the station’s upgrades as it would have been a “trip hazard.”
