Small businesses across Merton are being given the chance to apply for a financial grant from the council.

The Business Rates Grant is being paid for out of the authority’s Cost of Living Fund.

It was recently increased by a further £1million so it now stands at £3million.

Councillor, Eleanor Stringer, hopes the extra cash will help business owners pay their staff the London Living Wage of £13.15 per hour.
