Applications for financial help were put forward by organisers in Claygate, Cobham, Esher, Molesey, Thames Ditton and Walton.

The money is coming from the council’s Remembrance Parade Grant Fund 2024.

It will help with the logistics of road closures, routes, marshalling and appropriate signage.
