Wandsworth saw an increase in the proportion of top A level grades from 2024 to 2025.
In 2025, 25% of all A level grades were at least an A, compared to 22.1% in 2024. The proportion of BTEC entries achieving all distinctions and above also saw an increase.
While early figures show many strong results and students moving on to university, apprenticeships and jobs, results day was about more than grades. It’s the culmination of years of learning, shaped by the support of parent, carers, teachers and friends.
Judi Gasser, Cabinet Member for Children, said: “Congratulations to every student who received their results. Whatever your next step, we recognise the effort it’s taken to get here and the commitment you’ve shown along the way.
“Whether you’re moving on to work, further study or taking time to decide, you should be proud of what you’ve achieved.”
