Rugby fans have taken to social media to express their sorrow that the world famous Twickenham Stadium is being renamed.

The Rugby Football Union has announced that it has sold the naming rights for the first time in the stadium’s history.

It was built in 1907 and will be known as the Allianz Stadium from next month.

Fans are querying why Twickenham could not have been kept in the name.
