Richmond Council has approved the roll-out of a number of “eye catching” school streets.

The specially designed routes feature colourful “pencil bollards” and “dragon’s teeth” so they are easily identifiable to drivers.

They’ve launched at 17 sites across the borough with the aim of improving visibility, compliance and safety.

School streets mean that certain roads are closed off to vehicles at drop off and pick up times.
