Residents in Surrey are invited to a final workshop to help shape the county’s climate change plan for the next five years.

The plan focuses on making homes more energy-efficient, cutting energy bills, and protecting against floods and extreme weather.

It also aims to save local wildlife and create new green jobs.

The workshop will take place on Saturday the 26th of July, from 10am to 3:30pm at Denbies Wine Estate.

Surrey’s Environment Cabinet Member, Marisa Heath, says it’s important to hear from people now to protect Surrey for the future.
