Residents in Richmond could be saving hundreds on their water bills this year.

Richmond Council says it us automatically signing up over 500 low-income households to a Water Help discount.

The authority is hoping to save some residents an average of £398 each year.

Richmond joins Wandsworth as the only boroughs participating in the pilot scheme which could later be rolled out across London.
