Save Wimbledon Park has officially launched an appeal against a High Court Judge’s decision to allow planning permission.
The All England Club wants to expand by building 38 courts and an 8,000-seat stadium on the former Wimbledon Park Golf Club.
The judge ruled in July that the development could go ahead; the group’s appeal is expected to take between 4 and 6 months.
