Putney’s MP says dealing with the High Street’s traffic and pollution problems involves persistence, persistence, persistence.

Average concentrations of NO2 recorded last year have fallen by 40% since 2021 according to Wandsworth Council.

But the authority says more work needs to be done and the ongoing closure of Hammersmith Bridge is also affecting pollution levels.

MP Fleur Anderson says she is trying to mitigate issues that can be more easily resolved.
