Professional dog walkers at parks in Banstead may soon only be able to take four animals out at a time instead of six.

Reigate & Banstead Borough Council wants residents’ views on their public space protection orders.

There are more than 100 dog PSPOs currently in operation across the borough.

But, they must be reviewed and consulted on before the Council can decide whether to renew or amend them.

The type of behaviour controlled by the PSPOs, include where dogs are not allowed and the maximum number of dogs a person can walk at any one time.

The council also wants to introduce a dog exclusion area at the Battlebridge Lane athletics track.
