Primary schools across Surrey are being given grants to help teach children about recycling and reducing waste.

The School’s Waste Engagement Grant Scheme will fund projects focussing on food, clothes, electronics and general recycling.

Schools can also use the funding to improve their buildings’ environments for pupils.

Applications close on the 25th of March via the Together for Surrey website.
