Police teams across London are slowly closing their X accounts.

They want people to use the new Met Engage website to get information rather than social media.

Josh Laughton is the Neighbourhood Superintendent for Kingston Safer Neighbourhoods Team.

He says everyone should sign up to Met Engage today if they want to stay up to date with policing in their borough.
