Police say concerns about women’s safety in Epsom town centre at night prompted the introduction of a series of safety measures.

More than £270,000 has been spent on new CCTV cameras, anti-drink spiking measures and staff training at pubs and bars.

He says feedback from a police survey carried out on social media was a cause for concern.
