The alleged incident happened on the High Street outside The Five Bells Pub on Sunday, the 8th of February at around 9pm.
Police are urging anyone who was in the area at the time who may have witnessed the reported robbery to come forward.
There are no reports of any injuries and no further details have been given at this time.
