The incident happened outside The George Pub on the High Street at around 1:11am on Saturday the 31st of August.
The victim was approached by the suspect who punched him in the face causing him to fall to the floor.
The suspect’s described as a White man with blond short back and sides, a tattoo on his neck and an earring, wearing a light top.
Any witnesses are urged to contact police.
