Officers say they are pursuing several lines of enquiry after two official reports.
They are urging anyone who thinks their cat has been stolen from the area in the last two weeks to get in touch.
Anyone with information, CCTV or doorbell footage or who’s witnessed anything suspicious should contact them on 101.
