Plans for a new international concert hall in Wimbledon are still due to go ahead despite the death of the project’s lead architect.

Frank Gehry died last month at the age of 96.

Proposals for the state-of-the-art venue on Hartfield Road car park were unveiled in 2019.

The proposed 1,500 seat building will host jazz and rock concerts and be funded with private investment.
