People in Wandsworth are going to continue to pay the lowest council tax in the country.

The charge is being frozen for the fourth consecutive year.

The government has offered Wandsworth the freedom to increase Council Tax beyond the 5% referendum limit in future years.

But the authority says it won’t be doing this as it has some of the highest financial reserves in London due to prudent planning.
