People in Surrey can now apply for grants to improve their communities.

The Your Fund Surrey Small Community Projects Fund offers £1,000–£50,000 for projects like play areas, sports facilities and gardens.

Since 2023, the fund has given £6.9 million to more than 500 projects across the county.

Deputy council leader Denise Turner-Stewart says the funding helps strengthen and connect communities across Surrey.
