People in Surrey are being urged to become ‘Local Animal Heroes’ to help sick and injured wildlife this summer.

The RSPCA says hedgehogs are the wild animals most in need of help, with over 9,500 admitted to centres last year.

A new RSPCA video teaches residents how to safely assist wildlife as more than half of people in the South East don’t feel confident.
