People in Hammersmith have saved £170,000 this year by borrowing tools and gadgets instead of buying them.

The Library of Things has saved the community over £900,000 in total since it opened in 2022.

The council says the initiative helps people and the planet, with items ranging from £1.50 and free cargo bike collection.

There is also a new kerbside recycling service which lets residents easily dispose of broken or unwanted electrical items.
