People in Elmbridge affected by the expansion of the ULEZ are being asked to let the council know how they get on with it.

The authority says collecting information from residents will enable it to uncover any unintended consequences of the expanded scheme.

The £12.50 daily charge for certain, more polluting vehicles, came into effect in every London borough yesterday.

Although Elmbridge is not considered a London borough, it is on the boundary of the zone.
