The All England Lawn Tennis Club has bought out the neighbouring golf club.
It wants to erect a new 8,000-seater tennis “show court” in the parklands across Church Road.
Wimbledon qualifying would be relocated to the new venue and 39 new courts created.
But there has been significant opposition from some people living nearby.
The meeting is taking place on Tuesday night from 7.30 at St Barnabus Church in Southfields.
