Surrey Wildlife Trust is handing out boxes filled with surveying equipment to help community groups undertake species monitoring.
The kits can be reserved for one or two weeks at a time via the charity.
They’ll help people identify what wildlife, from minibeasts to small mammals, are present in their gardens so they can be protected.
