It’s after a grass fire, caused by four disposable barbecues, broke out on Box Hill last month.
The blaze has left a mark, damaging a 20 by 20 meter area, close to where the rare Adonis Blue butterfly colony resides.
Surrey Fire and Rescue says the blaze could have spread further and is urging residents and visitors to adhere to signage and warnings.
