People across Spelthorne are now able to have their say on Houses of Multiple Occupation.

HMOs are properties where at least three tenants from different households live together and share facilities like bathrooms.

Spelthorne Borough Council says these kind of properties help meet housing needs.

But the authority says it’s aware they can cause issues with noise and rubbish if there are too many in one area.

The consultation is open until February the 25th.
