The council says it is looking to reduce its day-to-day spending by £4.1million by the 2027 and 2028 financial year.
Town centre car park prices have increased 10p an hour and out of town car parks have gone up by 5p an hour.
A flat rate of £2 for evenings and £3 for overnights will also be introduced where appropriate.
