Park keepers across Kensington and Chelsea say they have carried out safety checks on the borough’s play equipment.

It’s after images circulated on social media appearing to show spikes nailed onto swings.

The council says there is no evidence of this happening in Kensington and Chelsea and inspections will continue.

Parents have been sent letters by some schools in London after reports of incidents were first made in the north of the country.
