Parents in Wandsworth who refuse to get their children vaccinated against Measles, Mumps and Rubella may be offered counselling.

It’s estimated one in five children in the borough are currently unprotected or insufficiently protected against MMR.

The council’s annual health report says this applies to those born between April 2008 and March 2018.

The report recommends counselling be considered for parents who refuse the immunisation even after they have been offered support.
