The project matches volunteers with care home residents who do not have friends or family to ensure they receive a Christmas gift.
The annual present-drive is run by charity RBKares.
It’s named “Operation Goldfish” after a specific 93-year-old resident who requested a goldfish as his Christmas gift in 2021.
