Only 16 people were charged in the first three months of a ban on laughing gas in England and Wales.

Police figures seen by Sky News show fewer than 1-hundred arrests were made by 22 forces across the UK during that period.

The substance was banned last November.

Commander Matthew Walton from Surrey Police says people seem to be using it less openly.
