It’s part of a £21 million package of works currently being delivered across three years by the council.
The works are seeing roads and pavements across the borough undergo major upgrades to improve their infrastructure and safety.
Councillors say twice the number of roads have been resurfaced this financial year compared to last and more than 500 potholes repaired.
