One of our most famous artists is being celebrated with a new exhibition in Twickenham later this month.

The 23rd of April would have been J.M.W Turner’s 250th birthday.

The exhibition will launch at his former home, Sandycombe Lodge, which he inhabited between 1813 and 1826.

Although Turner was known for his landscapes, his paintings of birds will be the main feature of the display which runs until October.
