There has been two incidents reported of a male posing as a tradesperson or council worker in order to gain access to the homes.
In one incident, money was stolen from an address in St Chad’s Close on Sunday, while another incident was reported on Monday.
Both incidents are being investigated, and police are reminding people never to let a stranger into your home.
