New vape recycling bins have been installed at shops and libraries across Hammersmith and Fulham.

Vapes that are put into regular bins end up at waste facilities, but when crushed, their batteries can ignite and spark fires.

The council is urging vapers to use the dedicated bins instead.

All vape retailers in the borough have also been told they must offer recycling services to customers.
