New figures show there has been a tenfold rise in people in Surrey using a dedicated NHS alcohol test compared to last year.

490 people visited AlcoholWise in July, which is up from 49 last year.

It’s designed to check harmful drinking habits and offer free support.

Surrey County Council and Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust are encouraging people to use it to assess their alcohol habits.
