Netflix dark comedy Baby Reindeer has picked up the most nominations at this year’s Bafta television awards with eight.

Meanwhile, Mr Bates vs The Post Office, which triggered outrage at the wrongful convictions of sub-postmasters has picked up six nods.

Surbiton comedian Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell are also nominated for the only public voted “Memorable Moment” award.

It’s for their Waltz to ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’ on Strictly Come Dancing, which they won.
