Much of South Western Railway’s Arterio fleet remains stationary at Clapham Junction.

The trains were officially rolled out at Waterloo back in November, but a lack of drivers means only 5 out of 90 are in service.

Transport Secretary, Heidi Alexander, has told Wimbledon’s MP she is committed to resolving the situation by the 25th of May.

That’s when SWR’s trains are brought into Government ownership.
