MP for Kingston Sir Ed Davey’s accused the Tory leader of spending more time on social media than on tackling the issues people face.

He’s responded to Kemi Badenoch’s criticism of the Liberal Democrats not being on Twitter, saying they’re instead helping communities.

The party leader will address the Spring Conference in Harrogate later, ahead of the local elections in May.

Sir Ed hopes his candidates will impress the voters.
