More than 650 warnings have been issued to people in Spelthorne in the two months since a special order came into force.

The Borough Council introduced a Public Space Protection Order in May to tackle anti-social behaviour.

It includes a ban on tents being used on public land to prevent littering and areas being used as toilets.

The council says its officers will now no longer issue warnings but £100 fines to repeat offenders instead.
