Charity, Charlie’s Promise, hosted the evening at G Live.
Founded by Martin Cosser, it was created following the death of his 17 year old son Charlie who was fatally stabbed at a party in July 2023.
Martin made a promise to his son that he would dedicate his life to raising awareness about the dangers of knife crime.
His speech highlighted the urgent need to educate young people about the consequences of knife crime.
The evening also featured contributions from Fearless, the youth service of the independent charity Crimestoppers, which provides a safe and completely anonymous way for young people to share information about crime.
